Hope you all had a great New Years! The Samples and Eders came up on New Years Eve and are staying with us through the weekend. We’ve had so much fun so far. We had a pretty low key New Years Eve. Jamie, Jeremy and the kids all were in bed before midnight and Matt, Wendi, Brian and I watched Dick Clark till the ball dropped. Very exciting times at the Burtons! :) I somehow managed to get a picture of the exact second of the new year. :)
New Years Day has been a blast. As we have over 3 feet of snow in Spokane, the whole group build a killer sledding hill off the deck. Jeremy managed to slide off of the roof twice, without a trip to the hospital! There has been talk that it may be done tomorrow too. I’ll make sure to give an update if it is! We did get some video of Jeremy's big jump, but I was having difficulty posting it to this post. I'm going to try to get it on a different post, so look for that.
Jamie made a cool tunnel that the kids slid down into. Wendi made an awesome snowman! What is more impressive, is her and Matt dug through the snow to find some rocks for the eyes. I think they must have gotten too tired to find enough for the nose and mouth though! Here are some pictures from our day in the snow...
Tomorrow, we are heading to Kellogg to visit the Braga's and to play on the snow tubing hill AND the indoor waterpark! We will make sure to post some pics from this adventure!
